Being a mom is absolutely incredible. Exhausting? Yes. New? Yes. But incredible? Absolutely.
I never imagined that I could love a little person so much. Maubry Ann has changed my life forever and I am so so blessed. I get to raise the most beautiful little girl I've ever laid eyes on. She truly is a perfect gift from God.
My labor was fast...after a full day of contractions I went to bed and woke up at 10:17pm with a REAL contraction. We left for the hospital about 11:20pm and Maubry was born at 1:08am. It was the most intense, most amazing experience I have ever had. Yes, it was by far the most painful. More than I ever thought it could be, but it was incredible. I wish I could describe what it was like but my words are insufficient to depict the intensity and beauty of the whole process. All I know is, I will never forget it.
(I realize this post is scattered but so is my brain, so I am just sharing what I think you might want to hear and whatever pops into my head. I am going to try and be better about blogging.)
This first week has been great. Maubry is a good little eater, sleeper and pooper. She is oh so precious!
Chaney is loving the dad life. He is an awesome daddy to his little girl and a wonderful hubby to me. I've been a bit emotional the past week and he just loves me anyway. I am very thankful.
My family has been a HUGE help. They feed me. And tell me to nap when Maubry is napping. And they keep me company. It's been a real blessing to be here during this time.
Well, I am getting side tracked...so here are some pictures of my baby girl and hopefully I will get better at this blogging business.
