Happy birthday Chaney!

Today my man turns 24!

This is the 3rd birthday I've been able to celebrate with Chaney. And it is still crazy to me how much has changed in 3 years. Last year we were still newly weds living in ekalaka and expecting. The year before he was in lincoln, Montana working and I was in Oregon and we were engaged, so I had to drive a long ways to surprise him (even though I was a few days late). And this year we are back in Montana(in a different town) and have a 9 month old beautiful baby!

His last 3 birthdays have all been in Montana but in different towns. I am so thankful to be where we are this year celebrating though.

I love to watch my man grow and thrive in his work and co-workers. He is getting involved in the community and building real and lasting friendships. He is leading his little family well. He is studying the Word and taking challenging bible classes. Maubry and I are so proud of our guy!

I hope he has a wonderful day! As I am typing he is moving his cows to new pasture ( and no matter how "cool" he acts about it or tells me it's just "work" I know he is in his happy place!)

Chaney has had lots of yummy food and cakes and cupcakes leading up to this day. His love language is food so I do my best on special occasions to really speak to his heart (stomach).

Tomorrow is Joe's birthday, a friend and co-worker of Chaney, and he wants to shoot skeet so that is how we will spend the rest of chaneys day (weekend). Shooting is another thing he loves but doesn't get to do very often so it will be a fun day.

Happy birthday to my man!! Love you babe!

Oregon visit

Well so far June has been an exciting month... I spent the first 10 days of it back in Oregon with Maubry visiting my family.

It was 10 FULL days of fun, laughs, some scares and celebration!

My parents just adopted another boy so I got to meet my new brother while I was home... He had only been there for a week so it was perfect timing. As I told my mom, I was present for her last two births and brought Esther home so not being there when Mik got home was making me feel left out :/ but I am so glad the timing worked out the way it did. God is so good.

We spent a lot of our time taking maub to a chiropractor I trust with maubs life working on her neck. And running errands and getting coffee ;)

The kids finished school while I was home so we went to their track day and watched Esther run like an Olympian and cheered on Luke!

We also got to watch luke play a few baseball games... A sport he has fallen in love with and is really good at so it was fun to watch and support him! We went to Reece's tball games too and died of laughter... 5 yr olds and tball make for the best of entertainment! Roo even started a game of duck-duck-goose while waiting to bat haha!!!

Maubry enjoyed playing with all her aunties and uncles... They literally crack her up and it's so fun to watch her squeal in delight at them!

Charsie and I got to ride horses together and just hang out a lot! I love that girl and miss her loads so just time together doing nothing is the best!

Mom and I sang lots of worship songs and talked about life and Jesus. We always have the best conversations!!!

We went to the lake and Esther and chars almost drowned :( but thank God for his protection and provision! It was a scary day but I think it's made a world of difference in all our lives-- for the better.

Maubry and I also got to spend some time with chaneys parents and our dog. It was fun to see them and share maub with them ( I Love showing her off)

My cousin Layton graduated from high school as well so we all drove up to Washington to spend time with more family and celebrate lay and all he has accomplished! It was so good to see all the family and encourage and celebrate my awesome cousin!

One of my favorite things was getting to go to cowboy church and have our pastors over for dinner! I miss our church
So much so it was so good to be back with an awesome body of believers. :)

Everyday was full and crazy and all of it was a perfect gift from God! He Is so so good to me and for that I am very very thankful!

It is good to be home with my man and celebrate this weekend (his first Father's Day) with him. But my time back in Oregon will always be treasured.

Made a lot of memories and enjoyed every moment. Thank you family for everything. Thank you Chaney for letting your girls leave you for awhile. Thank you Jesus for safe travels perfect timing and your wonderful grace!!!!
